The already tense relationship between Prince Harry and the British royal family seems to have reached a new point, as it was revealed that King Charles III expressed his frustration with the continuous requests for money from his youngest son; it was reported that the monarch set a drastic limit on the Duke of Sussex's financial requests, going so far as to exclaim: "I am not a bank!"
Everything seems to indicate that the relationship between Charles and his son Harry continues to wear thin, as since the Duke resigned from his royal duties and left the United Kingdom, he has barely met with his father and, when they do meet or speak, things end badly and they fail to reach an agreement.

Royal biographer Robert Jobson published in his latest book that the British monarch is tired of his son, Prince Harry, constantly asking for financial help since his resignation from royal duties in 2020, as reported by the media outlet RadarOnline.

The comment was revealed in the book 'The Windsor Legacy', which deals with the consequences of the Sussexes' departure from the British Crown. According to Jobson, Harry and Meghan's departure "exhausted" Queen Elizabeth II and altered Harry's relationship with his father; according to the expert, the late Queen had asked Charles to handle all correspondence with his youngest son.
As discussions about funding and security became increasingly tense, Harry allegedly became confrontational. The author claims that the Duke of Sussex “insulted (Charles) and demanded funds,” which led the King to tell his friends: “I am not a bank.”
This ultimatum could have serious repercussions on any possibility of future reconciliation. Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their departure as senior royals in 2020, they committed to achieving financial independence. Despite having signed lucrative million-dollar contracts with Netflix or Spotify, the need for paternal financial support, according to reports, has persisted.
