Yolanda Andrade joined the controversy between Victoria Ruffo and Aitana Derbez, the youngest daughter of Eugenio Derbez and Alessandra Rosaldo, after the actress said that “they look really ugly at that age” while trying to defend the minor against criticism regarding her physical appearance.

On Instagram, Yolanda Andrade posted a clip from the program Perro Chismazo, where the hosts suggest that Victoria Ruffo should apologize and mention the phrase “don't mess with children,” in reference to the idea that one should not talk about them.
At the end of the video, Andrade added images of Victoria Ruffo and her two children, Victoria Fayad and Anuar Fayad. In the description, she wrote:
“Don't mess with children. Talk about your other children, they are already old enough for any conversation... Greetings Mrs. Victoria Ruffo. Yolanda Andrade's opinion, and once again, don't mess with children. Better let's talk about obesity.”

On Instagram, some users began to defend Victoria Ruffo, claiming that the actress spoke in general terms about children and not specifically about Aitana Derbez.
