¿Por qué los precios del Super Bowl siguen aumentando cada año?

The cost of tickets has only grown since the first edition of the NFL championship game, which is the most-watched sporting event in the United States.

In the first edition of the Super Bowl in 1967, tickets cost an average of 12 dollars, which would be over 100 dollars adjusted for inflation.

At Super Bowl XLIII, which the Pittsburgh Steelers won 27-23 against the Arizona Cardinals in 2009, the $1,000 average per ticket was exceeded for the first time; today that would be about 1,450 dollars.

The price curve ended up soaring in the last decade and a half, with last year's record of tickets approaching 10,000 dollars.

Patriots and Seahawks will replay the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX in Santa Clara, where the New England team emerged victorious 28-24.

That final left a historic moment, after being decided on the last play thanks to an interception by Patriots player Malcolm Butler against Russell Wilson one yard from the goal line.
