If you still haven't registered your mobile number and don't know when your deadline is, here we explain which endings have a deadline in September, what steps you must follow to register it, and what to do in case your line has already been suspended.
Remember that this measure seeks to "associate each line with a CURP to identify and suspend anonymous lines that are used for crimes such as fraud, extortion, or virtual kidnapping, via telephone," according to the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (CRT) portal.
The registration began at the beginning of the year; however, in June, deadlines were assigned according to mobile endings, starting with 0, whose deadline was last August 15.
In this way, the goal is to make the process staggered and orderly.

The mobile numbers that must be registered in September are those ending in 2 and 3. These are the deadlines to do so:
- Terminación 2: fecha límite el 15 de septiembre.

- Seleccionar tu compañía telefónica.
- Ingresar tu número.
- Tomar una fotografía de ambos lados de tu credencial vigente.
- Validar tu identidad con la cámara de tu celular.

You can also go to your provider's customer service center to have them help you register your line. You only need to bring your valid ID.
What happens if I don't register my mobile line?
If the deadline passes and you have not registered your mobile, your provider will have 72 hours to temporarily suspend the service. Afterward, you will not be able to make or receive calls, send or receive SMS messages, or top up your phone.
How to reactivate my mobile line if it was suspended?
If your line has already been suspended, you must complete the linking registration to recover the service. To do this, you will need to go directly to your provider's platform and follow the previously explained steps.
You don't need to have a balance, but you do need to be connected to the internet via mobile data or a Wi-Fi network.
