Before 2025 comes to an end, the Secretariat of Well-being will make a payment of 8,480 pesos so that beneficiaries can celebrate Christmas and the New Year with a little extra money in their pockets and without financial worries. When will the payment be made? Who will receive it? Below, we tell you all the details.
The payment in question will be made through the social program 'Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro' (Youth Building the Future), which distributes a monthly amount of 8,480 pesos, equivalent to what the minimum wage was during 2025.
'Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro' is one of the many social programs promoted by the Federal Government of Claudia Sheinbaum for the benefit of thousands of young people who are not working due to a lack of opportunities or complications in entering the Mexican labor market.
In addition to the money, the program provides training to beneficiaries, called “apprentices,” within various labor fields so that they can gain experience while they secure a contract.

The program is applied in the 32 states of the Mexican Republic. Nationwide beneficiaries, in addition to receiving the financial support, must attend job training at Work Centers for a period of 12 months, starting from their acceptance into the program.
Within these centers, beneficiaries have the opportunity to select the activities they wish to perform. This choice is based on their skills and interests, thus facilitating the acquisition of a job with the necessary experience.

¿Cuándo pagan Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro en diciembre?
The payment is made each month directly to the Well-being Card that the secretariat distributes to beneficiaries after they are accepted into the program.
If you are a beneficiary, there is good news. The deposit corresponding to December 2025 will be made on December 26 or 29, as the 28th (which is the regular payment date) falls on a Sunday, so it will be moved to these days.
Generally, the payment for 'Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro' is deposited on the 28th of each month, but if that day falls on a weekend, it may be advanced or delayed to a business day.
Take note! It is not necessary for you, as an apprentice, to withdraw all your money in a single transaction; you can keep it in your Banco del Bienestar account and make use of it when you need it and in the way that best suits you.

To verify the December payment of 8,480 pesos, you must check the card balance through the Banco del Bienestar app by following these steps:
- Ve a la tienda de aplicaciones y descarga la app del Banco del Bienestar
- Acepta los ‘Términos y condiciones’
- Proporciona tu número de celular
- Escribe los 16 dígitos de tu Tarjeta del Bienestar y la NIP del cajero
- Genera una contraseña y confírmala

¿Aumentarán el pago de Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro en 2026?
The Government of Mexico officially confirmed that in 2026 there will be an increase in the minimum wage intended to exceed 3.1% inflation, which means that the amount of some Well-being Pension programs will also increase.
'Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro' will also have an increase in accordance with the minimum wage; starting January 1, it will go from 8,480 pesos to 9,582.47.
“With the 13% increase to the general minimum wage starting January 1, 2026, the beneficiaries of the 'Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro' program will also have an increase in their monthly financial support, which will amount to 9,582.47 pesos,” the program points out.
