Vanessa Huppenkothen recounts the tense moment
Through Instagram, Vanessa Huppenkothen documented the tense moments she experienced when a red truck allegedly tried to cut her off to force her to stop.
"If they kill me, we already know it was this bastard," Vanessa said in her video, before reading the car's license plate aloud.
After deleting the video, the TUDN host explained in her stories that she was safe and at home.
"I want to thank you for your messages and support. A few hours ago I had a scare, which fortunately didn't escalate. I am home, I am fine, I am safe, and I am infinitely grateful to you. Thank you very much," she said.
Internet users suggest it could be a case of 'montachoques' (staged traffic accidents)
After Vanessa Huppenkothen's video went viral, some internet users suggested it could have been a possible case of 'montachoques,' a modus operandi in which one or more drivers cut off the path and fake a traffic accident to try to intimidate their victim and extort money.
