New year, new loves? Recent photos uploaded by former beauty queen Luz María Zetina in which golfer Lorena Ochoa appears have rekindled rumors that they may have started a romance at the end of 2025.
Although it remains mere speculation, given that the photos circulating on social media do not have any statements regarding the matter and only show them as friends sharing the day, other media outlets have mentioned that they could be seeing each other.
Even though both began 2025 in relationships, as the months passed, they surprised the public by announcing their breakups.
In April, Lorena Ochoa revealed that she had divorced Andrés Conesa after 15 years of marriage, a period during which they had three children.
Months later, in November, Luz María Zetina not only announced that she had ended her relationship with her partner Emilio Guzmán, to whom she was engaged for the second time in her life, but also confessed on a podcast that while she was in the relationship, she began to have feelings for someone else.
With an open heart, she explained that in an effort to be congruent with what she thinks, says, and feels, she approached Emilio to talk about what was happening.
"With my last partner, 8 years, engagement ring, loving him, suddenly I start to feel that someone else enters my heart. I start to have feelings for another person and I was very taken aback, but unable to silence what was happening to me... what do I do with this?"
"...So I went to my partner and told him: 'This is happening to me.' Inconceivable. Inconceivable; the relationship ended at the root," she said while reflecting on how the decision to be honest had impacted her family and life project.
Although the rumor of a supposed romance with Lorena Ochoa existed before the statements made by Luz María Zetina, she did not mention the name of the person who had entered her heart during her confession.
