Yahir got people talking again after making a critique about the dynamics inside La Casa de los Famosos México 2026.
The former La Academia contestant questioned why some of his housemates spend a good part of the day asleep, given that they are being paid to generate content.
“I see that the day starts very late and in the afternoon there are very long naps; we are on a television show. We are working. Do you get what I mean?” Yahir commented to his housemate Memo Schutz while they were both resting on a sofa.
The singer continued his criticism by recalling that the previous day he had entered the room and found all his housemates asleep.
“So, for example, yesterday when I arrived and saw everyone lying down, I went into the room and they were asleep inside the room and everything. It really threw me off and I said: ‘Dude, we are working, we were hired to work, man, not to sleep.’”

Some viewers agreed with the singer's words regarding the residents' lack of content. However, others pointed out that Yahir doesn't generate much content either and labeled him a “piece of furniture,” a term used by fans of the reality show to refer to participants who have little participation or go unnoticed.
Other fans, conversely, considered that the problem might be related to the show's production, mentioning that the Colombian version has different dynamics.

According to that information, the residents would receive between 110,000 and 320,000 pesos per week.
