After attacking Kylian Mbappé with racist and hateful comments, and even threatening to sue him, Paraguayan Senator Celeste Amarilla caused a stir on social media again by mocking the player and France's elimination from the 2026 World Cup. What did she say?
The senator has been active on her social media, sharing photos and videos of herself arriving at work dressed in the colors of Spain, one day after France fell 2-0 in the semifinals.
Amarilla was captured by reporters wearing a red skirt and scarf, along with a yellow blazer and a white shirt. As she stated to the microphones, she wore those colors to support Spain, and even claimed her clothing was from the Spanish brand Zara.
In addition to the message she sent with her outfit, the legislator directly mocked the player, claiming he lost because karma caught up with him. "Karma has already reached Mbappé. Paraguayan karma, not just mine," she said with proud smiles.

But that wasn't all; the senator used X to continue mocking the footballer and the French defeat by writing: Spain 2, France 0, alongside a gif of a young girl making gestures to shut her mouth.
Likewise, she reposted comments from Paraguayan users who also poked fun at the final score: "The French are such crybabies, what a bunch of snowflakes. They've been crying for a week. That's why it's much better to fight with the Argentinians because by the next day we don't even remember what we were saying to each other," "In the history books of football, it will remain how Senator Celeste Amarilla psychologically destroyed the French national team and all the French people."
The politician even reposted a video showing a person performing satanic rituals, in which a user suggested it was the senator herself casting spells for the French national team to lose.
¿Qué dijo Celeste Amarilla de Kylian Mbappé?
A few days ago, following Paraguay's defeat against France, the senator ranted against Mbappé via social media, directing racist aggressions and hate speech at him regarding his ethnic origin.
"Brute, he didn't even learn how to write. Instead of his mother's milk, he sucked coconuts and the most cultured thing he has ever heard in his life are chimpanzees," Amarilla wrote on X, in addition to calling him a "colonized Cameroonian, arrogant, nouveau riche, overbearing, and ugly."
Shortly after, Mbappé responded by calling her a "despicable woman unworthy of her position," questioning her political stance.
Regarding this, Amarilla threatened to sue him for "messing with Paraguay" and for insulting her without knowing her, and she demanded an apology.
