According to information provided by reporter Gabriel Cuevas on his YouTube channel, TV Azteca may be considering Pedro's departure due to the media pressure the show and the network have received over the past week.
Cuevas claimed that Azteca is considering two options regarding Sola's situation: since his public apology for the comments made about poisoning dogs was not convincing, Pedro would either leave the show temporarily or they would force him to take canine education courses.
“Another of the points that we also know will happen is that they were going to start giving Pedro some time off (...) I found out from a very good source that, as a result of this entire media situation, Pedro Sola is going to be absent from the show, for the time being,” stated Cuevas.

In addition to these claims, Azteca is reportedly making the decision to “rest Pedrito’s image” from the world of entertainment.
As he detailed, Pedro's departure would not be a firing, but rather he would be taken off the air to go on a trip: “They are going to handle it like he is going on a trip, they are not going to fire him, they are going to reduce his days, but he will disappear from the broadcast for several days”.
Regarding Pati Chapoy, the reporter and content creator stated that she will also be absent from Ventaneando and will leave her collaborators to cover her spot in order to protect the show's image and let the scandal blow over, which has already reached a more critical level due to the lawsuits from the association 'Van por sus derechos' for inciting animal abuse.

Last Monday, July 7, Pedro Sola sparked public outrage after making comments condoning animal abuse on the show Ventaneando regarding poisoning dogs.
He claimed he cannot stand seeing pets in public places and that every time he sees one, he feels like “throwing poisoned meat at them” and “shooting the owners” who take them in strollers.
“I don’t tolerate dogs in the store, dogs in the supermarket, dogs crapping in the restaurant. Hey, what is that? Did you all go crazy or what? It makes me want to throw a piece of poisoned meat (..) Or those who take three in a stroller, it makes you want to shoot the owners”.
Regarding these comments, Pati Chapoy mocked the situation and agreed that people are wrong and should go to a psychiatrist: “It makes you want to give them a psychiatrist’s business card,” the show's host noted.
