Days after concluding his participation with the 'Tri' in the sporting event and amid reports of possible signings with elite clubs in Europe, Jorge Hank, owner of the Xolos de Tijuana, detailed that 'Morita' will not leave Mexico in the immediate future.
The businessman detailed that Mora does not have clear offers for his career from the other side of the continent and that he will have to wait until he comes of age in October 2026 to plan his future in soccer. Likewise, he revealed that the young man will play for Xolos in the 2026 Apertura of Liga MX.
"FIFA has in its regulations, which I find excellent, that they can leave until they are 18. Before that, he has to go with the whole family," Hank noted.

After fulfilling his commitment, the businessman hopes his future is decided: "I hope he goes to Europe, and not because I'm biased, it's a different level. He is going to learn a lot, he is going to practice a lot, and we will have him on the National Team in four years," he pointed out.
A few days ago, it was leaked that Gilberto Morita was on the radar of several European clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Regarding this, Hank said that he would always like to see him with the Xolos, but that the team "doesn't have that much to offer" since Gilberto "is a kid with a lot ahead of him."
"What 'El Vasco' said after [finishing his participation in the World Cup] makes a lot of sense. He is a kid with a lot ahead of him, it's not fair for me to drain him and risk him so much," he pointed out.

According to detailed information from the soccer site Team Talk, which specializes in revealing signings within the international soccer industry, Arsenal is working on a possible signing of Morita even though he has a current contract with the Xolos de Tijuana.
Apparently, the club is willing to pay what is necessary for the Mexican team to let him go before his contract ends in 2029.
But that would not be the only offer for 'Gil'; Team Talk states that Liverpool has already made contact with Mora and his representation team to reach a future agreement.
"According to some sources from the Premier League contingent, Liverpool is 'very interested' and has already made contact with them to establish the terms of the deal, as well as the wishes of Mora himself," the outlet says.
Team Talk also states that Mora is in the sights of elite teams such as Real Madrid and Barcelona. Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested in launching an offer for the player.
The outlet estimates that the young Mexican will join the ranks of one of these teams in the not-too-distant future, with a value starting at 45 million dollars.
