This program, coordinated by the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), seeks to connect young people who are not studying or working with workplaces so they can gain experience and develop professional skills. The training lasts up to 12 months, and during this time, in addition to the stipend, they are also provided with medical insurance from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).

¿Qué requisitos piden para Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro?
The program is aimed at the population that meets the following conditions:
- Tener entre 18 y 29 años.
- No estar estudiando ni trabajando.
- Inscribirse en la Plataforma Digital del programa por cuenta propia o con asistencia de personal autorizado por la Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS), proporcionando la información requerida en el formulario de registro.
- Bajo protesta de decir verdad, declarar no estar trabajando ni estudiando al momento del registro.
- Identificación oficial vigente.
- CURP.
- Comprobante de domicilio (luz, agua, predial o teléfono) no mayor a 3 meses de haber sido expedido.
- Fotografía con el rostro descubierto, sin ediciones, sosteniendo la ficha de registro proporcionada por el programa.
- Las personas extranjeras deberán presentar el documento oficial vigente que acredite su estancia legal en el país expedido por las autoridades migratorias correspondientes.
- Aceptar los términos de la carta compromiso donde accede a cumplir con las Reglas de Operación y otras disposiciones que le apliquen como participante del Programa.

Registration to participate in the program is completely free and is done through the official Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro digital platform (https://jovenesconstruyendoelfuturo.stps.gob.mx); generally, the steps are as follows:
- Ingresa a la Plataforma
- Llena los datos iniciales solicitados
- Selecciona un Centro de Trabajo
- Asiste a la entrevista y vinculación con el centro de trabajo.
