What is the Bienestar Pension 'Pago de Marcha'?
The 'Pago de Marcha' is a financial support payment delivered once after the death of a person entitled to a Bienestar pension. It is not an additional pension, nor does it mean that several pending two-month periods are being paid. Its purpose is to provide support to the person who was registered as the deceased beneficiary's assistant.
Which Bienestar pensions provide the 'Pago de Marcha'?
According to the authorities, the 'Pago de Marcha' is only provided for beneficiaries of the Pension for Senior Citizens, the Pension for Persons with Permanent Disability, and the Women's Bienestar Pension.
Who can collect the 'Pago de Marcha'?
The registered auxiliary adult person of the deceased beneficiary is the only one qualified to collect the 'Pago de Marcha'.
How much is the 'Pago de Marcha' in 2026?
The amount depends on the pension the beneficiary is registered for:
- Pensión de Personas Adultas Mayores: 3,200 pesos
- Pensión para Personas con Discapacidad: 1,650 pesos
- Pensión Mujeres Bienestar: 1,550 pesos.
What are the requirements to collect the 'Pago de Marcha'?
To request it, the auxiliary person must call 800 63 94 264 or go to a Secretariat of Welfare service module. The documents that must be presented are:
-Official identification
-Death certificate
-Medical certificate issued by a public institution that certifies the death.
The process must be carried out within the two two-month periods following the death. Keep in mind that if it is not reported during this period, the right to receive the payment is lost.
When is the 'Pago de Marcha' deposited?
Once the death has been notified and the process completed, the support will be issued in the following two-month period.
