Christian Nodal went viral in the last few hours after being featured in the famous 2016-2026 trend, where internet users have been sharing and viralizing their best memories in true Instagram style.
The singer from Caborca, Sonora, was included in the trend by his ex-girlfriend, Lisa Fernanda Macías, who had been commenting on Nodal's behavior regarding ending and starting relationships hastily, especially with Cazzu and Ángela Aguilar.
In the images, never before seen by the public and circulating online to media attention, a teenage Nodal is seen at just 17 years old, studying in high school alongside Macías, a time when they were a couple.
In one of the photos, Christian is seen in the classroom smiling behind Macías, while in another, he is receiving a kiss from her on the side of his head.

“He was in his prime and I didn't know it. He really changed a lot, hey,” wrote Lisa under one of the photographs. “From the archives, this was never uploaded,” she wrote in another. “Let the couple in love pass. So funny,” she mocked.
Lisa Macías, recently gone viral for revealing she was Nodal's girlfriend in high school, recently claimed that she ended their romance because he cheated on her with another classmate, whom he began dating openly just hours after they broke up.
Lisa recalled that Nodal broke up with her one day, without explanation, and the next day he already had another girlfriend, whom he kissed in front of her. With this brief history in context, Macias said she found similarities between her relationship with Nodal and his relationship with Cazzu, whom he left days before marrying Ángela Aguilar in Rome.
“What I managed to know of him at the time I met him is not very different from what I heard in that interview,” the young woman pointed out in a video shared last year after the explosive interview she gave to Adela Micha, where she told her side of the story.
She added that Nodal, since his adolescence, has shown behavioral patterns in his romantic relationships that persist to this day. She claims that, almost ten years after the alleged incident of infidelity, the singer maintains his 'modus operandi' of moving from one romance to another.
“I mean that I remember him as a person who has many impulses, he broke up with me to later be a jerk with someone else, and now that almost ten years later the story is repeating itself, the difference is that now he said it himself to the public and that people know his modus operandi made me feel a little disappointed to see that he has changed so much, but at the same time he has not changed at all,” she noted.
Lisa Macías was criticized for this on social media, where users and Nodal fans labeled her an opportunist who only wanted to gain fame at the expense of the singer of 'Te Amé'.
Prior to this, Lisa Fernanda Macías had already revealed that the song 'Te Fallé' was written by Ángela Aguilar's husband inspired by her and the infidelity she experienced while they were dating.
