Halle Berry caught her followers' attention again by sharing a photo on Instagram where she shows off a sexy swimsuit that highlighted her figure. At 59, the renowned actress proved once again why she continues to be considered a benchmark of beauty and wellness, generating thousands of reactions among her admirers.
In the image, the Oscar winner appears wearing a one-piece swimsuit with a plunging “V” neckline and delicate lace details on the edges. Her followers flooded the post with compliments.
The photograph also revealed the star's slender figure, especially her tiny waist and toned silhouette. Berry has shared aspects of her healthy lifestyle on various occasions, which includes constant exercise routines and yoga sessions that help her stay in shape and full of energy.
In addition to the portrait that stole the spotlight, the actress showed some postcards from her current trip, including beach views and moments of rest at an exclusive resort. Along with the images, she wrote the reflection: “Every trip rewrites me a little,” a phrase that connected with her followers and helped the post surpass 267,000 “likes” on Instagram.
One of Halle Berry's most recent works was her role as Sharon Coombs in the film Crime 101. According to IMDB, the film follows the plot of a thief and an insurance investigator who meet and plan a big heist, while a detective is hot on their heels.
The actress pointed out that the film also addresses the issue of ageism and how women are often excluded as they age. “The character resonated deeply with me. You get to an age where you feel marginalized, devalued. You feel it at work. You feel it in society,” she added: “I’m not going to let myself be erased. I’m going to speak louder than ever,” when addressing ageism in Hollywood.
Among various projects, Halle Berry launched Respin, a healthcare platform for menopause and women that aims to reorient the conversation around menopause and perimenopause in 2020.
Since then, she has changed the name to focus more directly on women's health and longevity. “I’m almost 60. Fighting for women's health feels like a formidable cause for my second act,” she said.
“I realized that only we, women, can destigmatize this by talking about it, making it acceptable, talking about it with our husbands, our partners, our children, our coworkers,” she added.
Halle Berry told Marie Claire magazine that she is not afraid of aging, as she now feels better and stronger than in her younger years. Likewise, she constantly performs “strict wellness rituals.”
She attributes her youthful appearance to red light therapy, routine gym sessions, and a sugar-free diet. She takes vitamins and supplements on a daily basis.
“Age is just a number they put on us at birth. I feel like I'm in my prime right now. Sugar is the enemy. You couldn't put anything sweet in front of me right now and pay me to eat it. I’m just not interested.”
