In an interview with VayaVayaTV, Octavio Ochoa said he believed his sister would have liked to stay longer inside La Casa de los Famosos 2026.
"I did see her wanting to have stayed longer, but going back to the same point, this is just beginning and I am sure it is the best thing that could have happened for her," he expressed.
When the interviewer asked him why he believed his sister did not receive enough votes to remain on La Casa de los Famosos 2026, Octavio Ochoa asserted that the elimination was the result of a smear campaign allegedly driven by a company, the name of which he preferred not to reveal.
"I'm going to tell you. Now that I can say it, ever since Mariana started her career as a soloist, she has been attacked by a company using a bot farm. I hadn't wanted to say it, Mariana asked me not to, but right now with an open heart, I will say it: there is a powerful company that has dedicated itself to this, that has dedicated itself to smearing her behind the scenes—well, behind the curtain—and obviously to promoting hate," he declared.
Octavio Ochoa added that although his sister has haters, like any public figure, said company had allegedly harmed her.
"Obviously my sister has many haters, natural as any other person has them, but in her case, it did start by tripping her up and playing dirty. Those are the hazards of the job, everyone will have their karma. I'm not interested, I'm not going to judge anyone, let people keep doing their work, let her keep shining," he recounted.

Although Octavio Ochoa did not reveal the name of the company, some followers of the former OV7 member pointed out on social media that it might be Bobo Producciones, a company headed by Ari Borovoy, who was also part of the successful musical group.
Mariana Ochoa and Ari Borovoy have had a long-standing conflict over the commercial use of the OV7 brand, after Borovoy and other former members used it to promote the 90's Pop Tour show.
"The name OV7 can only be used when the six of us, without Kalimba, agree. Ari knows perfectly well that he cannot use the group's name," Mariana Ochoa said at the time to the program Hoy.
