The controversy between José Manuel Figueroa and Ninel Conde has reignited, and this time, Joan Sebastian's son decided to speak about some episodes surrounding his relationship with the actress. A few days ago, Ninel Conde revealed in her docuseries Sin Filtro a violent episode she allegedly experienced with José Manuel Figueroa; although she did not mention his name, she did say it was "a regional Mexican singer, son of a great icon who is now resting in peace," which immediately linked him to Joan Sebastian's son.
"He hung up the phone and grabbed me, saying 'where are you going?'. I said to him: 'I'm leaving, you're cheating on me' and he said: 'You're crazy, you're surely cheating on me and that's why you think I...'. That was when there was a terrible, terrible, terrible episode. He took out a gun and started firing shots into the air. My Bible was next to the nightstand, he grabbed the Bible and set it on fire," the famous woman recounted.

José Manuel Figueroa responded publicly to Ninel Conde's statements and questioned her account. Among the comments he made, he denied the singer's claims and, when asked by a reporter whether he regretted having dated Ninel, he replied flatly that he did.
"Of course, not because of this statement, ever since I understood that she wasn't a human being, it wasn't one of my best relationships, and telling her to her face 'I'm not in love with you' well, I think it hit her narcissism and the ego she has of having so many men like Luis Miguel and everyone a little hard," Figueroa said in a video picked up by Imagen Televisión.
He added: "I remember that when we had broken up, one of the strongest and cruelest statements she could have made, so you can see what kind of heart she has (...) I remember they asked her, one of her colleagues at that time asked her if she didn't see Joan Sebastian as very handsome or attractive, after having broken up with me and she answered 'well yes of course, the gentleman' very flirtatiously, insinuatingly, hinting, opening certain... as you know we can answer".
He continued: "When they asked my father what he thought about Ninel Conde finding him attractive after we had broken up, my father replied 'no, the only thing I see when I look at Ninel Conde is the mole of my son whom I love so much".
Likewise, he claimed that Joan Sebastian was always against the relationship he had with Ninel Conde, especially because he was a friend of Ari Telch and knew the details of how her controversial separation from the 'Bombón Asesino' singer went.
