Kim Kardashian grabbed the spotlight on social media after starring in a new campaign for SKIMS, the shapewear and lingerie firm she founded in 2019.
The entrepreneur and television star shared a series of photographs on Instagram in which she appears modeling some of the tiniest garments from the new collection, sparking thousands of reactions among her followers.
In the images, Kardashian embraces a "micro" bikini, a trend that takes to the minimum the size of bras and bottoms.
One of the most talked-about looks was a leopard print bikini consisting of a small bralette and matching bikini bottoms, which could pass for one of the "smallest in the world."
The celebrity wore her signature dark hair styled with a center part and soft waves over her shoulders. The makeup remained in natural tones, with lightly flushed cheeks and nude-colored lips.
Part of the photographs were taken in a dressing room space, where Kim Kardashian posed in front of mirrors and even captured some selfies during the production. Later, she changed her outfit for a hot pink set with a deep neckline that is also part of the brand's new release.
When presenting the collection on social media, the entrepreneur informed that the new garments are already available through the SKIMS platform under the concept that the "micro" designs are designed to adapt to different body types.
The campaign comes at a time of strong expansion for the brand. In recent weeks, SKIMS has turned to well-known figures to promote different product lines.
Recently, actor Will Ferrell participated in a campaign for the firm's men's collection, while model Hailey Bieber was the face of the Everyday Cotton line, focused on basics and everyday lingerie.
Since its official launch in 2019, SKIMS has become one of the most successful brands in the fashion and shapewear sector, reaching an estimated valuation of billions of dollars.
Kim Kardashian has explained on several occasions that the idea for SKIMS was born out of her own necessity.
As she has recounted, for years she had difficulty finding shapewear that matched her skin tone and even went as far as modifying some pieces herself to better adapt them to her needs.
The entrepreneur has noted that the brand is directly inspired by her personal experiences and her own figure, which is why she remains actively involved in the design, promotion, and development of new collections.
With this new campaign, Kim Kardashian once again demonstrates the power she retains in the industry.
