¿De qué trata el episodio México vs Portugal?
The plot of episode 183, titled 'The Cartridge Family,' features Homer taking Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie to watch a soccer match in Springfield and an autograph signing with the players.
At the beginning of the program, Bart asks Homer why he has never taken them to watch a soccer game, after seeing on television that a game featuring great stars was being advertised to determine which country was the greatest in the world: Mexico or Portugal.
In addition to the sporting match, the episode satirizes the use of weapons in the United States, as a riot breaks out after the game where Homer gets a gun to defend himself, which Bart and Milhouse eventually end up playing with.
'Who wants to go to the soccer game? The Continental Soccer Association is coming to Springfield. We'll see it all: lots of kicking, low scoring, and ties,' the advertisement says. 'You'll see all your favorite stars: Arriaga, Arriaga II, Barriaga, Aruglia, and Pizzoza, and they'll all be signing autographs,' it continues.
'This game will decide which nation is the greatest on Earth... Mexico or Portugal?' it says.
During the match, because they are bored, the fans plan to leave the stadium, but before that, a collective fight breaks out, with punches, fires, thefts, and more that end in a criminal conflict on the streets.
¿Quién gana en el partido México vs Portugal?
Due to said riot, the match appears to be suspended, so there is no winner. It is worth mentioning that the match in the episode is not part of a World Cup, nor is it the final of any tournament; at the beginning of the chapter, it is only mentioned that the association is bringing the game to the city.

For the above to happen, Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal must win in the round of 16 against Croatia this Thursday, July 2, and move on to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final. So far, it is confirmed that Mexico will play the round of 16 against England next Sunday, July 5.
