Disney Cruise Line announced it will expand its fleet of ships with the debut of the new Disney Believe. The fourth ship in the Wish category will set sail for the first time on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The company made the announcement from the theater on its Disney Wish ship and noted that reservations for the first voyage aboard the Disney Believe will open on October 19, 2026, on its website.

What will the Disney Believe itinerary be?
The new ship from Disney Cruise Line will set sail from Port Everglades with four- and five-night itineraries through the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Those who embark on this magical adventure will visit Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, the cruise line's two private destinations.
What is the theme of the Disney Believe?
The premise of the Disney Believe ship is to “believe in yourself,” “follow your dreams,” and “discover new possibilities.” This will be represented by Tinker Bell on the bow. Additionally, two giant sculptures of Buzz and Woody will adorn the stern “to celebrate the dreamer within us.”

The ship's lobby will feature a Moana theme. With surprising architecture, the sea will be represented by a carpet in turquoise and blue tones and a chandelier that recreates the movement of the ocean, with the heart of Te Fiti inside. An incredible golden statue of Moana will welcome passengers.

Pools and fun for the whole family
If there is one thing that characterizes Disney Cruise Line, it is that it brings Disney fun to the high seas. Families will be able to have fun on the deck in seven pools; one, of course, facing a giant screen where Disney movies will be shown throughout the day and evening. In addition, the Disney Believe will keep the Aqua Mouse slide, with a length of 230 meters. The little ones will love splashing around in the water play area with Toy Story characters.

New musicals and shows on the Disney Believe
One of the big pieces of news during the Disney Believe Reveal was that the ship will present the first Encanto musical. A Broadway-style play in which Mirabel will have the “mission of saving her family and her home.”
The play will be based on the movie and will feature top-notch costumes, amazing sets, and special effects, as well as songs that are already iconic: “Dos Oruguitas,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” and “Surface Pressure,” for example.
Another of the musicals will be based on the story of Tangled, with renovated scenery, and the play Disney Seas the Adventure will bring together Disney and Pixar characters along with songs that have made history. The plays will be presented in two time slots per day so that all passengers can enjoy them.
Entertainment aboard the Disney Believe
Disney Cruise Line constantly seeks to include the most recent Disney productions in its entertainment offerings. Zootopia arrives on the Disney Believe ship with Gazelle, a space where trivia, games, and character encounters will take place during the day. At nightfall, it will transform into an exclusive area for adults with silent disco parties. It will also be possible to join Nick and Judy in solving special cases.
Those who prefer rock have to visit Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party. Movie buffs will be able to enjoy Disney movie premieres at the cinema, and children will be free to play sports and games in the Hero Zone.
The Pirate Night and fireworks, favorites of all travelers, remain.

Restaurants on the new Disney Believe
When traveling on the Disney Believe, you will be able to enjoy all the restaurants thanks to its rotational system, where every night you enjoy a new dining experience. The new ship will maintain animation-themed restaurants, superhero themes, and live shows, but with new characters as protagonists.
1923 Restaurant:
It will celebrate the legacy of The Walt Disney Company's animation; in fact, its name corresponds to the year the company was founded. It will have more than 1,000 drawings, objects, and animation tools in its display cases. This time, animations from movies like Lilo & Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story, and Peter Pan will be highlighted.
Worlds of Marvel:
You will be able to enjoy Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, where the whole family will eat to the rhythm of an incredible musical selection alongside Rocket and Groot.”
Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast:
It will be the new restaurant with live entertainment and, of course, it will be inspired by Frozen. The experience will be set in the courtyard of a house in the forest, and there will be songs performed by Oaken’s cousins.

All dinners and food on the deck are included in your cruise fare. Next to the pools, enjoy pizzas, burgers, BBQ dishes, and tacos. Pluto’s Pita Platters will be added with a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring kebabs and pita bread accompanied by a variety of side dishes and spreads.
If you want to enjoy new culinary offerings, bars, and treats on the Disney Believe, be sure to visit Joyful Sweets, with an Inside Out theme. There will be figures of Joy, Sadness, Anxiety, and Envy. Choose from one of the 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream available; surely one will awaken happy emotions in you.
Spaces for every member of the family
Infants and children:
At the It’s a Small World Nursery, families will be able to use childcare services for little ones between 6 months and 3 years old.
There are also kids' clubs. For example, inside Disney’s Oceaneer Club, children between 3 and 10 years old will be able to enjoy interactive spaces with movie-themed decor, games, and up-close encounters with their favorite Disney characters.
The five themed areas on the Disney Believe are: Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain's Deck.
Adults don't have to worry about leaving their children there because the staff takes care of them at all times. While children play and experience their independence in a safe space, adults can go rest or have fun at the cruise facilities.
Teenagers:
Of course, teenagers will have a great time in the pools, the cinema, or the ship's theater, but there are also special clubs for them aboard the Disney Believe.
In Edge, teenagers aged 11 to 13 will be able to have fun moments, socialize, and play in a dynamic, colorful space set like a New York urban loft.
On the other hand, Vibe will be aimed at youth aged 14 to 17 and will offer a modern loft-style environment, ideal for hanging out, watching movies, playing, and participating in group activities designed especially for their age.
Adults:
Did you think that Disney cruises were only for children? That is a misconception, as the Disney Believe has multiple exclusive spaces for adults. For starters, on the deck, there are pools, bars, cafes, and spaces with loungers just for those of legal age.

Those who prefer to relax at Senses Spa can receive everything from facial treatments to acupuncture. There are saunas, hot tubs, massage rooms, relaxing baths, and everything necessary to pamper yourself. All with fantastic ocean views.
There are also bars. Try Wishing Well, inspired by Snow White, Haunted Mansion Parlor, and Skygazers.
