stole the spotlight again on social media after appearing with a radical new look following her dismissal from Univision. The Ecuadorian host and influencer shared images of her new appearance and took the opportunity to continue releasing messages related to the controversy that arose after she mocked Mexico's defeat against England. "I didn't insult anyone," she reiterated.

Alejandra Jaramillo's name trended a few weeks ago after a video went viral in which she celebrated England's goals in the match against Mexico. "I only wanted one thing to sleep peacefully today," she wrote in the clip and added in the post: "Thank you Kane, thank you Bellingham. They tell me you have Esmeraldas roots."

These words were enough for thousands of people, especially Mexicans, to lash out at her, arguing that she was angry about Ecuador's defeat against the Tricolor, which had happened five days before the match against the English team.

Since then and until now, Jaramillo has lost hundreds of followers, was canceled by thousands more, and even lost her job, as Univision announced that she would no longer be part of their company. For her part, the Ecuadorian confirmed the news that she would no longer work for the famous television network and assured that she was calm because she had done nothing wrong.

Following this, she shared that her dismissal from Univision did not affect her and that, to close the cycle, she had undergone a makeover, which reminded her of her beginnings, her childhood.

“Fresh start. There is so much magic in returning to the essential; my childhood haircut, I believed due to insecurities very typical of me that I would never have it like this again. That I was destined for blonde dye and extensions 'because they suited me better'; I wanted to make this change without any makeup to observe from within rather than just looking at myself with a different look in the mirror. I recognized myself instantly, my same essence, that which has not changed but has evolved with the maturity that life itself and the years give, years that I feel I shed a few by returning to my natural color. Feeling pretty and a little girl again,” the host wrote.

In photographs and videos posted on her social media, the Ecuadorian showed off a new hair style, which sparked thousands of comments from her followers. Many interpreted the makeover as a new stage in her professional career, while others simply praised her refreshed appearance.

In her Instagram stories, she also released a message in which she reiterated that she had not offended anyone: “Friends, I am proudly Ecuadorian. A woman, a migrant, a mother who started from scratch here and who chose to live in a country where the first amendment is 'freedom of speech.' And that is a right I have access to, because I am a permanent resident of the United States, I pay taxes, and I have no problems outside the law. Supporting a soccer team without having insulted anyone, without even having said any demonym, is nothing more than freedom of speech regarding what a sport generates. And that is what I am sticking with. I send you a huge hug. I repeat it again, everything is going to be fine,” she pointed out.
