Argentina's defeat against Spain in the 2026 World Cup final left not only sadness among fans, but also strong controversy on social media. In the hours following the match, posts and videos began to go viral in which some Argentine fans launched offensive messages against foreigners and even demanded their deportation. Such is the case of one host, who claimed that they are in a position to "declare war on some countries," especially those that have mocked the fact that Messi and the Scaloneta lost the championship.
The controversy continues several days after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, which ended with a match between Argentina and Spain that finished with an expulsion, punches, a fight on the field, the Albiceleste turning their backs on the Red Fury during their celebration, and Messi crying in front of the cameras.
After Argentina lost, a good portion of fans worldwide showed their joy, this because they did not want the team managed by Lionel Scaloni to win, as it was speculated that they had been favored by FIFA, given that fouls were forgiven, and they also pointed out that the officiating was always in their favor.
That is why there was a wave of comments on all social media platforms that spoke out in favor of Spain and against Argentina. Fans from Mexico, England, and other countries showed their solidarity with the Spanish and their annoyance toward the Albiceleste. But the Argentines made it clear that passion for soccer does not stay on the field.
An Argentine host launched a series of insults at all foreigners who have mocked and turned against Argentina, especially those living in said country. "Foreigners who are parasitizing us here, who are carrying on, who are executing, and who, honestly, if you ask me, we should deport every last son of a b*tch among them," were the words with which he began his message.
"This goes beyond the little ball, it goes beyond the soccer issue (...) we are in a position to declare a few countries enemies," he said without hesitation. He added: "It's all a bunch of garbage what these people are doing, the famous Argentine hospitality has to end, I believe they must be mass deported, in no way should they live off our taxes."
Another of the hosts present there supported the idea of deporting foreigners and added that it is unacceptable for them to behave this way and mock Argentina when it has been that nation that has given them "free healthcare and education."
Finally, the Argentine presenter closed with the following message: "It's been too many years of parasites living off my dough (money) and I have no reason to support your education while also seeing how you act (...) the networks exploded with sons of b*tches like you, shitty parasites who don't have a peso to pay for your education and come to do it here because it doesn't cost you money (...) why would I want you here if you're broke, a starving wretch, what use are you to me, completely useless."
The insults generated various opinions: while some users expressed their anger after losing the final, others responded by condemning the language used and remembering that migrants are part of Argentine society.
However, other internet users pointed out that the presenter's comments do not represent the stance of all Argentine society or all followers of the National Team.
