The fight between Belinda and Lupillo Rivera may be nearing its end: after several years of public statements, differences, and an ongoing legal process, the lawyer for the regional Mexican music performer revealed that there is a possibility of reaching an agreement that would put an end to the conflict that reached the courts. A few months ago, Lupillo Rivera stated that he would remain firm in the legal dispute he has against Belinda, whom he sued after the singer did the same before the Mexican authorities. At the time, the man known as “El Toro del Corrido” specified that he would see it through to the final consequences and would not accept any settlement with the singer of “Lo siento”.
However, things have changed, or at least that is what Alonso Beceiro, Lupillo Rivera's lawyer, reported, who announced on Ventaneando that his client's intention is to avoid prolonged wear and tear.
“Sometimes people don't measure the time this implies,” said Beceiro, who also commented that when it is not a matter of serious crimes, both parties can acknowledge their mistakes and reach an agreement: “Each person made this mistake, we recognize this mistake, and that's where it ended,” he asserted.
The lawyer noted that if an agreement is reached, it would be to avoid further exposure, in addition to both celebrities wanting to prioritize their musical careers and professional activities.
