Galilea Montijo caused a sensation at the start of the new season of La Casa de los Famosos by appearing on camera wearing a stunning futuristic dress, but also because of her changed image and for raising suspicions of facial paralysis. What happened to her?
During the broadcast of the reality show's premiere, Galilea was a topic of conversation on social media after viewers and her followers noticed something “strange” about her face.
It is worth mentioning that in recent months the host has been the target of criticism for the aesthetic procedures she has undergone, which have radically changed her face.
As internet users noted during the show's premiere, it was difficult for Galilea to make gestures and articulate clearly when speaking; they also pointed out that her face seemed to be drooping to one side, especially around the mouth and eye area.
Initially, there was talk of side effects from “poorly done” aesthetic procedures or the excessive application of Botox, but others pointed out that she seemed to have the aftereffects of a facial paralysis she may have suffered secretly at some point.

On X, several followers asked directly, tagging La Casa de los Famosos and Galilea Montijo's account, what is really going on with her, some out of concern and others in a mocking way.
“What did Galilea Montijo do to herself?”, “Seeing Galilea Montijo gives me anxiety! Sorry, but what was the need? She looked very good as she was”, “Hey, what happened to Galilea Montijo? Did she have a facial paralysis, or why does half her face look like it fell?”, “Galilea now looks like Sylvester Stallone after a beating in Rocky”, “What the h*ll is up with Galilea? She looks like Sylvester Stallone now”, “She’s talking with a crooked mouth”, “Me seeing that Galilea Montijo can no longer make facial expressions”, users commented.
So far, it is not known if the presenter suffered facial paralysis as suggested. What she has publicly admitted to are some non-surgical aesthetic touch-ups to lift her eyebrows and swelling caused by them.
“They fixed my little eyebrow, speaking of surgeries, this wasn't really a surgery, it's just that they lifted this eyebrow,” she said on the program Hoy.
Subsequently, after more comments and criticism of her image, she asked the media not to talk about her physical appearance anymore: “I don't talk about anyone's physical appearance, so nobody should talk about my physical appearance,” she pointed out.
