Criticism and mockery against the Telemundo hosts, but especially against Carlos Adyan, who interviewed Fátima Bosch, broke out after an interview focused on asking her about the controversies that arose after she was crowned Miss Universe 2025.
"Fátima, the patron saint of Telemundo and you too," "Fátima putting you in your place," "You're such a... good thing Fátima canceled with Telemundo, circus performers!" "Your career was born in Mexico, and it will die in Mexico," "Did you want fame or a backlash?" were some of the comments on social media against the Puerto Rican host and the American television network from users who have raised their voices in support of the Mexican winner.
However, some have taken a harsher tone and questioned Carlos Adyan's professional career:
"Let's go Fátima, AGAINST MISOGYNY DISGUISED AS JOURNALISM," wrote Cascrisvcnt; "Professional journalist, from where?" replied Andresarana86; "You're kidding, honestly, things should be asked with respect and not by interrupting others," opined Marlen.
"Like when your dreams of self-improvement are dissolved in a malicious interview. DO NOT MESS WITH MEXICO!!!," said Cristhian.ant.
"Why does Carlos say she didn't answer when she actually did?," questioned another user on the channel's social media.
It is worth remembering that on December 7, Miss Universe 2025 attended an interview on the Telemundo program Pica y Se Extiende, where she also addressed questions regarding the health status of Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, a topic that both the family and the pageant have kept private.
Furthermore, regarding the alleged lawsuit that Nawat Itsaragrisil, organizer of Miss Universe Thailand, filed against her in that country, Fátima reiterated that she has not defamed anyone and has not been notified of any legal action.
They also asked for her opinion on the investigation into Raúl Rocha, the owner of Miss Universe, for serious crimes, in addition to questioning her about the visa status of Miss Ivory Coast.

These were topics to which, although Fátima Bosch responded while visibly uncomfortable and annoyed, she clarified that "there are rules that we all (the pageant participants) are unaware of" and stated: "I have nothing to do with those things and my job is to be a voice for women all over the world."
After the barrage of questions, she mentioned among her responses that they only "fuel morbid curiosity." Subsequently, she decided to leave not only the interview but also the program's set and canceled the rest of the commitments she had scheduled with Telemundo.
So far, neither Carlos Adyan nor Fátima Bosch has commented on social media about what happened during the broadcast, despite the new controversy that has been unleashed.
