The drama for and Meghan Markle does not end, even six years after separating from the British Royal Family and having ranted against them on several occasions.

According to statements shared by the media outlet Radar Online, Harry is facing new criticism for the way he has publicly exposed his conflicts with the Crown since he left his official duties and moved with his wife to California.

As detailed, the Duke of Sussex is accused by his detractors of having turned his personal pain into a public battle and of having deepened the rift with his relatives through inflammatory interviews, documentaries, and his revelations in the memoir Spare.

Since their separation from the institution, Harry and his wife have spoken publicly about their experience within the monarchy, as well as the private lives of several members, including Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, and the nightmares they allegedly lived through.

The accusations they have made have deteriorated the image and reputation of the Royal Family and have complicated their relationship with royalty and their reception at the palace.

A source close to the institution told Radar: “There is a feeling that Harry has repeatedly brought deep personal pain into the public sphere, and every interview or revelation has made repairing those family relationships difficult. The criticism now is that the pain has become part of a very public battle”.

For her part, royal expert Sarah Vine has been critical of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their decisions after leaving the monarchy, and has accused Harry of having used his suffering to keep the conflict alive.

In one of her strongest critiques, she maintained that when the needed the prince, he “tried to burn the place down on his way out.” Vine accused: “For two people who claim to be so connected to their feelings and those of others, they have repeatedly demonstrated a total lack of emotional intelligence, combined with an unbridled sense of superiority. They are so absorbed in their own drama, so isolated in their bubble of privilege, that they do not realize how privileged they are. And that is a most unpleasant trait.”

And she added: “At a time when the Royal Family needed Harry the most, he not only slammed the door in their faces, but he also tried to burn the place down on his way out.” No one is suggesting he doesn't have the right to feel hurt, but weaponizing your pain as he has only perpetuates the cycle of sadness.”

It is worth remembering that the rift between the Sussexes and the rest of their family began to take on an international dimension in 2021, when Harry and Meghan gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey.

In that conversation, the prince claimed he felt trapped within the institution and expressed concern for his father, the then-Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William. Furthermore, he labeled them as racist and accused them of harming his and Meghan's mental health. Subsequently, the couple delved deeper into their experiences in the Netflix documentary series, while Harry offered more details in his memoir Spare.

A little over six years after left their official duties, the royal dispute continues to fuel one of the most publicized family fractures in the British monarchy and continues to trigger new controversies.
