During a conversation with Aldo Rendón inside the reality show, Karina recalled that she met the player through a dating app while she was on a trip to Turkey.
"I was in Turkey one time and I hooked up with a Spaniard, a soccer player," she confessed.
When Aldo asked her if the player was blonde, Karina replied no, but assured him that he was "incredibly handsome."
The influencer also said that the soccer player had millions of followers on Instagram and that, after she told the anecdote in a live broadcast, he sent her a message to complain.
"He told me he was a soccer player and I followed him. I saw him and he had I don't know how many millions of followers on Instagram and suddenly it occurred to me to say in a broadcast that I had hooked up with a Spaniard, a soccer player, and the guy sent me a message on Instagram and gave me a hard time, asking why I had said it, that they already confronted him and I said, man, how? No way, among so many people how would he know that some girl said it, let alone that it was him?" she recounted.
Karina explained that she replied to him that no one would know who she was talking about and admitted that she shared the story because she wanted to feel like the "protagonist."
Who is the player being pointed out on TikTok?
After the confession, TikTok users began to gather clues about the identity of the soccer player.
One of the most mentioned names is Marco Asensio, who has over 15 million followers on Instagram and has played for Fenerbahçe S. K. in the Turkish league since September 2025. He previously played for Real Madrid.
Internet users believe his profile matches Karina's description: a Spanish soccer player, with millions of followers, who was in Turkey during the period when the influencer visited the country to film Migajeras por el mundo, in December 2025.
Did Karina Torres confirm the identity of the soccer player?
So far, Karina Torres has neither confirmed nor denied that it is Marco Asensio or any other player. Therefore, the identity of the Spanish soccer player she met in Turkey remains a secret.
