Following the media explosion Imelda Tuñón is currently experiencing due to the leak of videos taken by Julián Figueroa, her aunt, entertainment journalist Addis Tuñón, has stepped up to support her niece by asserting that the images circulating on social media violate her privacy and pointing to Marco Chacón, Maribel Guardia's husband, as the person responsible for leaking recordings that were allegedly taken from Julián's phone.
"It is evidence that comes from the phone of a person who is no longer here, and there is absolutely no complaint against her. It was dismissed (by a judge) because they also consider that it violates privacy, not only Imelda's but also the couple's," commented Addis, a member of the program "De Primera Mano," hosted by Gustavo Adolfo Infante.
The host was in charge of providing context on the origin of the video that was broadcast by the Argentine journalist Javier Ceriani.
She asserted that in the midst of the legal battle faced by Maribel Guardia and Imelda over custody of the actress's grandson, the videos—which show the young woman apparently going through an emotional crisis—were presented to the family court and subsequently rejected.

"It is something that the authorities have already seen and dismissed; it is not relevant. Despite everything that has been stated, filed, and integrated into the case file, Imelda has full legal custody of her son. Therefore, the media frenzy does not stain the truth," the television host affirmed.
Likewise, Addis clarified that during the legal process, authorities obtained a statement from Imelda, since "she also had information and material about what happened before and after the video."
In her personal opinion, Imelda's aunt stated that her niece has not brought to light the entire family context in which she, Julián, and their son lived, "out of love for the one who is no longer here."
She then launched a strong criticism:
"Using someone's love as a shield to hide all your misdeeds is not decent; I think it is quite critical."
Furthermore, regarding the origin of the videos, Imelda's aunt clarified that the only person who would have access to the content recorded by Julián Figueroa is Marco Chacón, since "he managed all his accounts and, with the excuse of closing his social media, kept the iPad and cell phone of Maribel Guardia's son."
"It is the widow, not the mother, who should have access to that; (Chacón) is the one who took it, time passed, and he never returned it," she stated.
¿Cuáles son los videos difundidos por Javier Ceriani en los que aparecen Imelda Tuñón y Julián Figueroa?
The videos published by Javier Ceriani were recorded by Julián Figueroa while Imelda Tuñón was apparently hurting herself inside a bathroom. Furthermore, in the images, Julián mentions that his partner had at some point burned his eyes with acetone and bitten his hand.
It should be noted that while the son of Joan Sebastian and Maribel Guardia was alive, he did not reveal the existence of this material, and it only came to light this past weekend.
Both Imelda Tuñón and the "De Primera Mano" team point to Marco Chacón as the person responsible for this leak and affirm that he was the one who kept Julián's belongings after his death.
