Upon successfully completing the course, students will receive a certificate endorsed by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), which is an excellent tool for facing the world of work and study.
¿Cuáles son los requisitos de la beca para aprender inglés de la embajada de EU?
According to the official US embassy portal, these are the requirements to submit your application for the free English course:
- Tener entre 18 a 22 años
- Estar "dispuestos a convertirse en un modelo a seguir en sus comunidades"
- Ser originario de Oaxaca, San Cristóbal, Veracruz o Villahermosa
- Comprometerse a cumplir con las 360 horas que se impartirán
- Copia de tu identificación oficial con fotografía (nacional o escolar)
- Escribir una declaración explicando por qué deseas unirte al programa
- Crear un video de un minuto en español donde te presentes y digas por qué deberías ser seleccionado
- Subir el registro escolar más reciente, ya sea calificaciones o historial académico

¿Cuánto dura el curso de inglés de la embajada de EU?
The English course lasts a year and a half, a period during which the selected students must "attend classes regularly."
These are the key dates you should keep in mind:
- Inicia el 13 de enero de 2026
- Concluye 1 de junio de 2027
- Clases son martes y jueves de 4:00 a 7:00 pm
- Se descansa en días festivos y verano

US diplomatic authorities reported that the English classes are taught by Glasswing International in collaboration with the CECATI schools in each city.
Selected youth will be able to take lessons according to their city of origin:

Those interested can enter the official portal of the United States Embassy in Mexico and click on "English Access Scholarships."
After the scholarship description, a link appears that says: "Fill out your application here." Clicking it will take you to a Google Form where you must fill it out and upload the previously mentioned documents and videos.
You have until December 14 to fill out your application.
