On social media, the soccer player shared a photo showing him holding Georgina's hand, both wearing their wedding rings, with the blurred silhouette of Geo dressed in white in the background. In the caption, Cristiano simply put their initials with a heart in between.

Minutes after the post, the British outlet Daily Mail revealed, citing the player's representative, that the couple was married in an "intimate and private" civil ceremony with their closest friends and family in Cascais, Portugal.
"Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez were married today in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife," the representative commented, adding: "The ceremony was a private and intimate moment attended by their five children."
News of their secret wedding comes days after it was believed the couple would get married in Cristiano's hometown of Madeira, Portugal. To everyone's surprise, fans of the new bride and groom witnessed another couple's wedding at a church in Funchal, believing it was CR7 and Geo.
According to reports regarding their wedding plans, the celebrities were supposed to get married in Madeira on August 1st, but this turned out to be false.

A year ago, the couple got engaged with a million-dollar ring, nearly 10 years into their relationship. In an interview with ELLE, Rodríguez spoke about the jewel and the time it took for the player to present it to her.
According to her, the fact that Cristiano gave her a ring worth more than 3 million dollars was "the least he could do" after having waited so many years to propose, although she had no idea she would ever get engaged.
"It's beautiful. It's the least he could offer me after ten years of waiting (laughs). The truth is that, when he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind," the model noted.
Geo shared that after receiving the ring, she forgot about it a bit until she saw it in the daylight the next morning.
"It took me a long time to process the huge rock he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didn't open it to the sunlight until the next day (laughs)," she recalled.

Georgina and Cristiano Ronaldo had been in a public relationship for 10 years, which was well-documented on social media. It is known that they met in 2016 at the Gucci store in Madrid where the influencer worked as a sales clerk.
As she has recounted on several occasions, Cristiano arrived at the store with his son and some friends just as she was about to finish her shift: "I was finally able to leave the store to go home three hours later than I should have, and just as I was about to leave, Cristiano walked in with his oldest son and some friends."
Shortly after they met, Cristiano would seek her out to go on dates and attend media events: "Many times he would come after work," she revealed in her series, I Am Georgina. "He would come, I remember once in a Bugatti. My coworkers went crazy. I arrived by bus and I would leave in a Bugatti. People couldn't believe it!" she added.
After this, the celebrity family grew; twins Eva and Mateo arrived in 2017, later Alana Martina, and in 2022 they welcomed Bella Esmeralda. In that same birth, Geo and Cristiano lost a baby.
