After influencer César Gastélum was murdered during a live broadcast last week, La Beba, an influencer with whom he was romantically linked due to their latest videos together, has broken her silence via a TikTok video.
In the video, which is over a minute long, she explained what her true relationship with Gastélum was and responded to the criticism she received for her reaction to the influencer's death and for continuing to post content on her social media accounts.

Following the death of César Gastélum, several media outlets and social media users assumed that La Beba was his partner due to the latest videos they had posted together, in which they appeared with a romantic attitude.
However, La Beba came out to clarify that they were not a couple and that they only met once to carry out a collaboration.
“César and I had a ‘shippeo,’ in which we only got together once to collaborate. That day we filmed, did a live broadcast, and made videos for TikTok, nothing more. He said to me, ‘let’s pretend we are a couple,’” she clarified.
The influencer from Sinaloa, who gained followers on her social media after Gastélum's death, explained that she was not looking for the spotlight or playing the victim and that she was grieving in her own way, like anyone else who loses someone they cared about.
“But seeing what has been said about me, and in some comments I have received, I think it is important to clarify: I have never made posts saying things that are not true. Nor am I looking for the spotlight, nor am I trying to play the victim. I am simply grieving in my own way like any person who loses someone they cared about. While I am trying to process all of this, there are people who are spreading things or interpreting situations in a way that does not correspond to what happened,” she detailed.

La Beba also explained that the comments she received on her social media were already affecting her, which is why she decided to clarify the situation.
“The comments are now reaching a point where they are affecting me quite a bit, that’s why I did this,” she said.
Although La Beba did not specify which comments she had received, some users on her social media spread messages blaming her for Gastélum's death and also criticized her for not speaking out on the matter.
She even had to close the comments on one of her latest TikTok videos, in which she was lip-syncing to a song.

The influencer added that she will miss Gastélum and assured that he was a very nice person.
“I can only say that I am going to miss him and that he was a very nice person,” she concluded.
