After the video of this reaction went viral on social media, Nodal performed in Chicago, but he did so without Esmeralda Canape, who usually accompanies him on the violin during his shows, among his musicians.

According to internet users, Esmeralda used her social media to share a message through a song; in the video she uploaded to her Instagram stories and her TikTok profile, the young woman is seen playing the song “Mi Mayor Anhelo” by Banda MS on her violin.
On TikTok, she uploaded the message “We believe in music,” and immediately, social media users began claiming that the song might be dedicated to Nodal, as speculation about a possible connection between the two began after they were seen exchanging glances at a performance.
“The lyrics of that song say it all,” “Is it just me or do you also see the dig she is sending Nodal with that song?” and “If I were Nodal, a thousand times you,” were some of the comments written to the violinist.
Esmeralda Canape's post was also used by users to send messages to Nodal's wife: “What will Flor Silvestre’s granddaughter say?”, “We do want you to be a fan of their relationship!
