This stance comes after social media users criticized the beauty queen's parade float and various memes emerged, immortalizing the moment Bosch had to be carried by her security team because she refused to step down from the platform.

The opinion of Lupita Jones, the first Mexican woman to win the Miss Universe pageant in 1991, went viral on social media. While she acknowledged the Tabasco native's natural personality, she called on her to "conduct herself correctly," as she now represents women of the world.
"She has to realize that she has moved up quite a few steps from being the 'Flor Tabasco'. She has to understand that part, and the people around her also have to understand it because she represents a woman, she represents this exaltation of femininity on a global level," she asserted.
Likewise, Lupita Jones, who has remained involved in the pageant in various capacities, asserted that Fátima Bosch lacks a team of advisors to help her project a better image, given that "on a global level, there are high expectations regarding this."
"She has to learn to live with this title of being Miss Universe for the rest of her life," she pointed out.
Jones tried to be empathetic toward Fátima, acknowledging that local traditions are "nice," but that given the new phase of life the Tabasco native is facing, it is necessary to keep her new responsibilities in mind.
"The 'Flor Tabasco' is something very cool, it's nice, a topic of a party for the people is divine, but Miss Universe is not the 'Flor Tabasco'," she reiterated.
