Will Melania separate from Donald Trump? This is the question circulating in the U.S. press after a source close to them revealed the alleged plans she has for when her role as First Lady of the United States ends.
According to the informant, Melania is already living her separation from the president, even while they remain married and both are the figures of the White House in this administration. Keep reading to learn more details.
According to reports from the outlet Radar Online, the insider claimed that Melania lives a life separate from the Republican politician and that their marriage could conclude with an official divorce once Trump's presidency ends in 2029.
When Melania returned as First Lady, it was said that she had her own space in the White House, separate from Trump, which she would only use when she was carrying out her work.
Beyond that, separate lives are also reportedly taking place in their New York and Florida residences, where the former model has private properties solely for herself and her son.
“Trump's space in Trump Tower is ostentatious and ornate, pure Trumpian kitsch. Melania's is austere, elegant, and beige. That is how they live their separate lives,” the source stated.
As cited by the outlet from Melania's former aide, Stephanie Winston, the marriage between them has always been a “transactional” affair and that the First Lady is merely a showpiece for the president.
“I think it’s a transactional marriage. Donald got a pretty companion, and Melania got two decades of success as a model,” Winston notes.
In addition to these comments, Winston spoke about the opinions that Melania Trump has about her husband: “In short, she finds him repulsive,” she detailed.
It was previously reported that Melania “hated Trump with all her soul,” according to statements by Winston to the news program 60 Minutes Australia. In addition to this, she noted that they are no longer together despite appearances and that between them, “everything is independent, they are people living separate lives.”
Since Trump began his second term as President of the United States, Melania Trump has maintained a low profile with few public appearances, keeping her life private only with her son Barron Trump in New York.
