After four years and several controversies that overshadowed the royal family, King Charles and Camilla received a visit from Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children at Buckingham Palace, as revealed by various British media outlets.
Although there are no further details about the meeting between the monarchs and Prince Harry's family, a royal expert stated that Charles's staff, as well as his secretaries and security team, have instructions to protect him from Harry and Meghan and to limit their interaction during the current visit, due to "fear."
According to expert Hilary Fordwich in an interview with Fox News, there is an instruction that every interaction "must be managed in detail," as they do not want the prince to spend time alone with the King.
"Every interaction must be managed in detail, right down to the minute, by courtiers and those whose job it is to protect the monarchy. Merely cordial meetings are more plausible," Fordwich noted.

"They are much more concerned about the institution as a whole and its continuity than the feelings of any member of the family. This has been the case for generations. Harry should know better," she added.
The expert's comments coincided with statements presenter Kinsey Schofield made to Page Six regarding the concern of the King's private secretaries and certain members of the royal family about private interactions between father and son.
Schofield detailed that all staff are on alert in case the scheduled meetings between the King and the prince become "awkward" or if complicated requests are made to Charles.
"It is known that the King's private secretaries also remain on alert, ready to intervene if a conversation becomes uncomfortable or a difficult request is made, and they end the meeting by reminding the King that his next engagement requires additional travel time and he must leave," she recounted.
She added that the staff will act as discreet witnesses in all meetings with the goal of monitoring Harry's behavior and any possible requests about being welcomed back into the royal institution along with his wife and two children; they will also have the obligation to witness the meetings to prevent misunderstandings or Harry or Meghan from leaking sensitive information to the press.
"At this moment, every meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry has constitutional implications, not just emotional ones," the presenter noted.
She added: "The palace does not treat these meetings as simple family gatherings, because experience has taught officials that private conversations can quickly turn into headlines or public relations strategies. Ultimately, I think it is about protecting the institution."
In the same statements, Schofield affirmed that the institution has a deep distrust of Harry and his wife and is afraid of what they might do or say after meetings with the King, which is why every move between both parties must be supervised.
"Six years ago, this was a family dispute; today it is an institutional risk assessment. Once trust is lost, every interaction becomes meticulously planned because what is at stake goes far beyond the relationship between father and son. I think Prince Harry has ruined everything on this trip, and I have been told that the King will not spend time with him if he does not bring the children," she pointed out.
This weekend it was reported that Harry and Meghan had arrived in London to fulfill some commitments related to the Invictus Games; taking advantage of the visit, the couple would be holding meetings with the King and Queen after four years of distancing and media controversy.
